Women MINISTRY
HELLO!
At Christian Home Missionary Baptist Church, we believe in practicing the Great Commission by serving our community. We have been serving Houston’s Third Ward community for the past 112 years, with an ultimate dedication to promoting God’s love and healing.
We understand that spreading the word of the Lord is something that is best done with others and within a sense of community. With this in mind, we offer plenty of ministry services in which people of all ages can come together and share their thoughts, feelings, and prayers
.Our Women’s Ministry’s goal is to strengthen women of all ages. We all have religious wants and needs, but for some, working on them in a community setting is more helpful than praying alone. When you come to the Women’s Ministry, you will work with other women, of all ages, to provide support and care for each woman’s individual needs.
You will enhance your sisterly fellowship through gatherings, outreach, and prayer with like-minded children of God. Working with your sisters will ultimately help yourself, and others, grow in the grace and love of God.

Faith
Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness.
Scripture
We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives.
Community
Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God.
